Seriously the best poutine in Ottawa. The fries stay crispy, the gravy is delicious, the curds are super flavorful and all for a very good price. We spent 15 for two people and we were both full since they really fill up the containers. Can't wait to go back! Staff were super friendly and sweet too!
A local legend in the poutine scene. The specialty poutines never disappoint. While sometimes they get a little weird (butter chicken poutine is not my thing) it's always delicious and there will be a new combo next week! Cannot recomend enough.
I don't usually hand out five star reviews for chip trucks, there is usually something I don't like. Maybe this place could be located closer to my house? That's unreasonable though. Back to the review, I feel like this place takes their business seriously, and you can taste it. Please review the included phots as you can see they use a quality bun for their burgers, real cheese curds that perfectly half melted. They use thinly cut fries which I enjoy, that's all personally preference though. the gravy is nice and flavourful without being intrusive. I believe a poutine should be equal parts fries/gravy/cheese all working together and that's what you will find here at Pong's. Back to the bacon cheese burger, again with the quality ingredients. Nice bacon mixed with cheese and other toppings. The patty was definitely home made, some sort of onion and other flavours were noticed, nicely done. To top all this off you can get the bacon cheeseburger combo with a drink for 10 plus tax. I really like that the combo comes in its own box, like a little gift to yourself. Got a large stranger frings poutine and a Diet Coke for only twelve dollars and it was PACKED to the top. Really good, gravy was hot and the cheese pull on the curds was great. Great quality, great value and they were super polite asking if I needed any condiments or a bag to put it in if I wanted to take it home. Highly recommend
My fries were a little overcooked, but the generous amount of cheese and gravy more than made up for it. Great flavor! I will try them again to see oif the fries improve.
Best poutine in the city, on the cheaper end with large portions for what you pay. This season they've added larger sizes for the weekly special poutines which just makes it even better value. 10/10

This brother's business proves to do the same thing This is from my second time visiting (yesterday) and I got excellent service & a DELICIOUS Chopped Cheese Sandwich with fries (current special) The first time I went, I bought a burger and one of the special poutines (it was a lot of food) One thing I'll say is this guy can COOK. And the prices are GREAT (full box of food was under 14) - for the food I got, I was surprised by the amount I paid for it Most places overcharge for this kind of value, so it's only right to tip generously TLDR: - great portion sizes for the price - the food tastes amazing - definitely going again
